With speeds elephantine I finally managed to finish the last book in the saga of Stephen King: The Dark Tower, Book VII The Dark Tower (which imagination: P). In these 900 search for Roland, last of the gunslingers finally ends, where stands the coveted black tower.
Reading the book is quite discontinuous and is divided into fairly heavy and slow parts (the battle of Algul Siento and the trip to the lands of Empath) and parts faster you read all in one breath (the meeting between Mordred and Flag, and the battle Dandeli Roland with the Red King). Certainly lacks the freshness of the first books and it shows that King felt somehow that it was necessary to bring the story to a conclusion.
in the book are numerous references to other works of King, fan-service that every fan of the King (not me) will appreciate for sure. Interesting and fun is the appearance in the history of a certain character (do not add more) and the narration of a fact of life that takes (as with a different perspective) a very important for all (do not add much).
A sore point of the book is that interesting characters like Randall Flag and Mordred are utilized very little, while there are many steps to unnecessary and avoidable (such as Roland's journey from Maine to New York) who steal for no reason pages book (and the reader time: P).

Entertaining instead the presence of two endings: one for a more mysterious and picky that way but that does not affect only the target (King's words), and reveals what lies behind the last room of the tower.
Ultimately, however, despite the flaws, the book does read and brings the saga, after 30 years since its inception, a worthy "end."
