penultimate book of the Dark Tower: bed in 5 days: D. "The Song of Susannah" is really intriguing, light and smooth, without those heavy and unnecessary chapters of the previous book in the series, which seemed put there just to thick. Finally he reached again the freshness of the first books ("The Last Knight" and "The Drawing of the Three"). The story develops along two separate time periods (1976 and 1999) but they meet and interact in several places, following the exploits of a ka-tet this time we (Roland - Eddie, Father Callahan - Jake - Susannah and Oy - Mia ). The final cliffhanger
opens on the seventh and final book: the conditions are good, we'll see how King has decided to close this story that has continued (with high and low) for decades. Two
painful notes: The character of Father Callahan fails to convince me just yet (maybe because I have not read "Salem's Lot") and the stop on the Twin Towers was avoidable in my opinion. A final
note: the appearance of a certain character makes us understand what King is really sick of egocentrism.
